Clay County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency. Its role is to organize links to Clay County and Kansas inmate, release, jail, court, and corrections resources.

This private reference resource stores no official jail, court, release, or corrections records. It cannot confirm live custody, release anyone, change a status, file documents, or act for an agency. Links point visitors toward public offices and outside research tools.

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted. Continued use after posting means you accept the revised terms.
Access May End
Access may be suspended, limited, or blocked at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. This includes action taken to protect the resource, its users, or outside systems.
Kansas Governing Law
These terms are governed by Kansas law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kansas. The Kansas Open Records Act, K.S.A. 45-215 through 45-223, governs access to qualifying public-agency records. It does not turn this private resource into a public records custodian.
Severability
If a court finds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part will be adjusted only as much as needed. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
